Rules?!
by Jedi Knight on Jun 17, 2008 03:21 PM

Like Mr. Mukherjee said, we Indians feel 'Rules are meant to be broken'. To make matters worse, we have over-zealous parents who would go to any length to protect their child, even if it means throwing their child in eternal damnation of false power. We have seen that happen when faters come all-out to protect their children in Jessica Lall case, Nanda's BMW case, etc... Why don't they understand that they would be able to protect their kids once or twice... but be that the case, kids' problem would just expontiate causing even more problem for the society & country.
Below are a few ways we can make our country a better place.
1. We should drop this attitude.
2. In case of underage DUI, punish the parents.
3. Use autonomous body to prevent political influence during the investigation.
4. Have fast-track courts to ensure speedy trials. (We Indians have a very short-term memory!!).
