This current situtation is created by big coorporates. All this is hype. They first put huge amount of money into the public pockets, lured them to spend lavishly. Suddenly people found themselves earning high and expending high. Then Companies set up big target for selling the goods and worked aggressively. Increased expenditure by this high earning public initiated higher demand. So why worry about high inflation. Now you see big coorporates are in business of every single item of common man. All wheat/ rice/pulses/ vegetables itmes are now branded. These big companies not only buy in bulk but also all the future stock too. So now they control the prices on one side and on other side they also pretend that items are in big demand. So no wonder prices have gone up. Inflation is index of Whole sale price, and that give the hint of this situation. The ordinary common man is still poor and in the same condition as he was 15 years back. The mantra of "jeeyo shan se" has its cost in-built.
