Yes. I totally agree with the author. I had a bitter experience with Air Deccan. When I flew to Cochin from Bombay, the flight was delayed by 3 hours to start. All of us boarded and flight started taxying. Suddenly it stopped midway in the runway and an announcement came saying that the backside left rear tyre of the plane has developed some complications and hence, passengers have to get down immediately for the Airport Authority of India officials to check and clear the flight. It requires to de-check in and again check in since it will take approximately 2 hours. This is happening at 12 in the midnight (the flight was due to fly by 8.50 p.m.). All of us came out of the flight, de-checked in and waited for half an hour when we were asked to board again since the flight is ready for travel. All of us boarded again except two gentlemen, who believing the statement of the airline (it will take two hours for the flight to depart)went out and came back after more than an hour. Flight was waiting till that time (more than half an hour) for these two gentlemen. Ultimately, we departed Mumbai at 1.30 a.m. next day. It was a wonderful experience and my firt and last experience with Air Deccan.
