Airline services
by Satish.Sreekumar on Sep 27, 2007 01:30 PM

The article was really very funny. It is true that they are keen to collect the money but the rest like services are just absurd. Have anyone tried clicking the mouse to book a ticket when you see a fancy fare of Air Deccan or Spice Jet? what you see subsequently is just the normal fare and it is only a gimmick by the airlines to fool the public. It is true that seldom we are informed about the delay or cancellation of the airline, no alternative arrangement done to the passengers during such situations, not offering even a glass of water to say the least. I have also seen how people rush to the gate to be the first to board the bus which takes them to the flight and you can see them standing near the door itself to ensure that they are the first to get into the flight and occupy the seat as per their choice in Air Deccan. Once I travelled by Spice Jet from Ahmedabad to Chennai. The airhostess who was announcing could not speak even simple English properly and I counted her saying 'I am sorry' six times and the demo was stopped abruptly because the 'narrator' ended up her lecture all of a sudden. Now look at the quality of airhostesses in Indian / Air India. Passengers will have a second thought to even ask for a bottle of water by seeing their weak appearance. On the contrary, see the dressing of King Fisher airhostesses. Are they completely westernised by displaying upto half of their thighs to seduce male passengers? Hope things will improve to better standards if not the
