Unless explained well, on the contrary the youth might feel bad about these restrictions placed on their activities.

I believe given a work environment where you have some exciting, challenging work to do, and deadlines to meet, assuming you are pursuing a career that interests you and not look at it just as a source of steady income; one would never think of wandering around web pages.

These practices might scare away a person from browsing net; but there are many other ways people might waste time ex: long lunch hours, coffee breaks, to quote some examples. So the feeling should come from with in. It should hence be a manager's job to look at this and place extra responsibilities and leverage a resource in a better way.

But a company SHOULD definitely inform the employees before hand, giving some consideration to employee%u2019s PRIVACY and right to KNOWLEDGE, in case it uses such crazy spy wares like the ones that capture key strokes / screen shots.
