Quantum TM, Reading - August 2004 - August 2006 Position: IT Marketing Executive, Shadow Team Leader, Customer Service Representative and Receptionist.
Job Role: During my time at Quantum tm, I have worked on behalf of different IT companies. These included IBM, Sun Microsystems and Cable and Wireless. I had to learn about their portfolio of products and learn the various technical terms associated with them. Whilst working on behalf of Cable and Wireless, I took technical support calls particularly associated with the launch of BullDog Broadband.
I have had to cover for Team Leaders, looking after various teams when they were away. This included running reports, monitoring KPI's, making sure the team was motivated and that time sheets were appropriately filled in and passed on to the Finance Director. At Quantum tm, you have to average 2 %uFFFD hours per day on the phone, make 80 call per day, speak to 15 Decision Makers per day and generate 0.5 Leads on your Campaign per day, (Target varies depending on the Campaign). I have consistantly averaged 3 Leads per day and I regularly receive weekly and monthly bonuses for my high level of achievment.
I was selected by management to be part of the Quantum Work Improvements Committee, with the results helping to shape the future of a growing and developing business. I was also on the Employee Works Forum representing the views of full time employees of the company to voice their concerns and points of view.
