Friend, I don't have much idea about financial services nor about Mumbai. So what I say might not be the best advice. My advice would be not to quit. The reason being that your current organization has promised you better compensation and a better job profile. Give it a try, work for a year, if you don't like it then look out. This will ensure you a better monetary deal and a better position in your next company. You don't know what is waiting for you in the other company. So play safe. Moreover it doesn't make any sense to change a company without significant gain, be it financial or work related.
