Thought the chamges are made int eh GRE I dont think it will affect the test takers much.. I took teh old GRE and scored 1520/1600. I checked the sample questions on ets.org and they seem of the same difficulty level.
But I dont see any mention of the Verbal section. I think I might have missed out on it in the article... The comprehension section in the old GRE was the toughest which I believe needed practice and thorought understanding and reasonong skills.
