Beautiful - but unnatural
by sushi on Jun 17, 2007 05:32 PM

What was the name of Phantom's island that had all animals - carnivores and grass eaters - living in perfect harmony? Eden?

However I firmly belong to the camp that believes that tigers and humans cannot mingle. He's probably cute and cuddly now, but you have just curbed the natural instincts of a great predator. And that's disgusting - typically what one expects of East Asians / Cantonese derivatives who subjugate everything they do not eat.

For those who say that this is the only alternative to being poached, think again. Can't wild-life sanctuaries (yes, well protected ones do exist) take these animals in? And spare them the torture of appearing cuddly or laying in someone's lap (yuck!)?
