I think that is a sensitizing act
by Ramakrishna Nallathiga on Jun 25, 2007 05:47 PM

Indians are insensitive to the children and vent off all their anger, frustration and apathy towards children by indulging in beating. Going by that even molestation takes place in some homes. All this gets covered up matter and goes unreported. A law like this should be an eye opener for the parents who make the children become hostile and vulnerable to all the abusive environment. How can one expect the kids better civilised than their parents if they are abused badly by their parents? Many parents think it is their natural right but never bother to look at responsiblity - a root cause of this display of anger.
