Its failure to achieve the target for 60 years itself shows that these are not the appropriate means to achieve either development in underprivileger or equality among all.I've never seen any pro-reservation supporter giving genuine reason. They either show the history or the poor among lower castes(Poverty does exist in upper castes also).Any support should be based on genuine reasons like economy, physical status that too till an extent to which the nation will not suffer.
