In my opinion any reservation on the basis of caste or creed is wrong. Some sort of reservation for STs and SCS were required in the beginning to uplift them from their pitiable conditions,but it should have been dispensed with by now.Todays' reservations are nothing but political game. These have nothing to do with upliftment. It is rather being used to perpetuate the superiority by those in the reserved categories whose fore fathers availed it in the beginning. Thats why there is opposition to exclusion of creamy layers and so on. Even if after60 years of independence you can't change the fate of some castes by their inclusion in some categories or other, what's the guarantee it will change in another 100 years. Now it has become a tool to expoit the people.Only incentive to be given to really needy should be in the form of financial assistance.Poors are in every caste. Only numbers may vary. This sort of reservstions which we are following is creating only resentment and violence.
