There are many instances in india now a days where the person getting the benefit of reservation is the offspring of some high ranked official and the person NOT getting it hails from a poor family of general category. So the reservation required now a days should be foe economic upliftment and NOT for any particular caste. And yes, if any particular caste/community is ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD, they'll automatically become the beneficiaries of the reservation policy based on their economic conditions.
