Reservation makes a joke of meritocracy. It was implemented as a temporary policy; never meant to be carried so far after independence. Why there is no absolute reservation in politics (like in education system, where they are always trying to ram a law for extra reservation). Beause it doesnt add value to the society. It's definitely a populist agenda which is not gonna benefit the society in long run. Reservation based on economic conditions should be considered (I dont know how it can be done impartially as how much a person owns cant be find easily especially in India).
