Nothing goes wrong as long as one is a good human being.And changes are inevitable in the society. The difference we feel today is that if soemone stays in rural area live-in relationship will attract a heavy resistance from the society yet on the other hand nobody cares in Mumbai for the same reason.
So be happy (if/whenever possible) and run fast(if you can) otherwise living in peace (??)is the better idea.
