Why is everyone blaming credit card companies?
by Shantanu Bapat on Jul 25, 2007 09:11 AM

Credit card companies send you terms and conditions when you sign on that dotted lines. It is your responsibility to read them. They never put a gun on your head, make you take their credit cards, and then forced you to make purchase. You did it out of your own free will and lack of fiscal wisdom and responsibility. So DO NOT BLAME them, they are just doing the business. If you don't like them , don't use them, it is that simple. There is no free lunch in this world. Remember the golden words from Lord Buddha "It is your own selfish desires that are cause of your own miseries" Buddha may not have known personal finance, but his words ought to be the first line taught in the finance.
Credit card companies have right to charge as they please and have right to recover the money by any means.
