When they call for Granting a Credit Card, I ask for a Platinum card only, because there is nothing a Tele Marketeer can do about it. Most of the Banks do not have that, and the ones that have, only give it to very selected customers.
Secondly, if they talk about Loan, I ask for the rate of Interest, and after reconfirming that, I say, in whose name do I write the Cheque? I would like to GIVE a Loan.
I am fairly successful at warding of most of them.
