People do talk about being an entrepreneur and starting own ventures. But let me tell you, its not a child's play. One needs to have nerves of steel to do that and if you don't have that, its always better to go for a job. Moreover the sort of salaries which an MBA gets these days is quite high and you can't expect to match such pay from being an entrepreneur in the initial several years of starting your own venture. If you have a lot of financial commitments, and responsibilities you should better go for a top job rather than being an entrepreneur. If however you have a supportive family and a sound family financial background which you can know can support you in case you fail, only then should think about starting own business. In my opinion more then financial reasons, it depends really on the mind of the person, those like me who think they just can't stand a boss and want to be their own boss should only go for own business. But if you think you are going to make more money than a top job at a corporate think again, even if that happens it will take several years to achieve that stage.
