Emotional Control
by on Jan 27, 2007 04:09 PM

It is true that it is difficult tp practice than to preach. But, effect of preaching is more valuable than that of crticising. Preacher may not have the good result of practicing the suggested way of peaceful life, but he is not selfish at least to hide out the elixir of life.

One who preaches must have occasional or transient enlightenment on emotional therapy, if not permamnently. You and every body also can try spme of the tips for once at lease to experiment. For example, consider that anger has scale (say 0 - 10. You are getting angry over an issue (any issue) with any body (Spouse, Children, Colleague, servant or else). If you are unaware of the fact that you are getting angry and continue to focus on the issue, your anger will go on rising up on the scale of 0 - 10. But, the moment, you mind that you are getting angry, you are bound to come down on your anger scale. Not only that you will take different attitude which is pursuasive, advisory, caring in nature irrespective of the gravilty of the issue.

Let us not debate on the issue whether the preacher is practicing or not. Rather, let us extract the core value out of what is preached.

Emotions are infinite. Controlling by mathematics of measures is like playing with pretty pebles on the shore of an ocean. Can you practics these two ways to lead a exemplary life:
1. Don't say such words that may hurt others.
2. Don't do such work that may cause harm to others.

Tough? Yes, very tough. But, if you start on this line, you must reach the goal one day (in this life or next depends how fast you are able to maximise your effort).
with regards and best wishes,

An Ignorant
