I fully agree with you. Karan's article is totally one sided and Australia actually has lowest unemployment of all major destinations. Lower than US and UK. The currency has been strong since 2001 and economy is booming. it is a service economy and that is the reason for all this. I am a permanent resident and it has been easier getting permanent residency in Australia (within 6 months of the course). In US it takes over 8 years to get Green card and without Green card, the benefits are very few.
