I completely agree with u. Confidene is the main thing during exams. I use to teach to 12th std student and had realised that many times they know the solution but because of the confidence problem they even not try to solve some questions. But if he gain confidence in exams at least he will try for solving the easy sums. Even also if he waste more time in solving difficult problems, it may be possible that he may not able to attempt the easy questions. Just consider a situation where he had solved Tough questions of 60 marks & missed 40 marks of easy problems. Finally its only the score wat people see and not the type of questions you had solved.
