Like the author has mentioned, the coonotation of harrassment changes from places to places, circumstances and time.A mere glance, a slightly off-colour remark may be treated as sexual harrassment under a particular situation while kissing passionately full mouth in public places is a sense of modern living in few other places. And not only boys or revealing dresses of girls are to be blamed, it may happen under normal circumstances. I live in Hyderabad and the other day when I slowed my bike in a little dark area opposite to a garment's showroom on posh Banjara Hills Road No.1, an autorickshaw stopped near me and two girls riding that auto, simply asked me if I am ready to take them for the night. So where is the problem? I feel the copy-cat movie producers and directors copy the western culture without any sense and as the male adrenalin is always on the higher side, men tend to take the filmy scenes for real-life drama and they too expect the same from others. We need a total reform on this subject.
