Holidays Travel outside India
by balmukunda das on Apr 30, 2007 04:15 PM

One should not be lured by the ads given in News papers and TVs regarding travelling abroad by the branded tour operators showing their testimony of receipt of International tourism awards for consecutive years. One has to verify carefully. They have hidden costs which they reveal one after other before your departure. By this time you have deposited advance money of Rs 10,000=00 to Rs 20,000=00 which is non refundable. In case you donot take up tour the advance are forfieted. They have number of terms and conditions written in very small letters in their booklet which normally escape your notice and you believe only on what they say.The terms and conditions are usually applied to the operator's advantages.Always ask for a written cost and clarifications of the tour signed by the operator.Finalise everyting before depositing the advances. I have bitter experience with a superbrand tour operator
