1 hr drive starting from the Palm Beach Road which entered the Mumbai Pune express way and then through the old Mumbai Pune Road to reach a place called Shedung. We were in for a pleasant surprise when we reached Zoia Resorts. A quite romantic place with abundance of green canopy and with a Pool which is at the foot of Sahayadri Mountains.One could not have asked for a better place to unwind for the Dewali days. Mornings were spend lazing around the pool and thereafter with beer for company in the shady lawns.This resort covers an area of 6 acres. The place is at a tribal village and surrounded by forest on one side and cultivated lands on the other side.I went for a trekking on the mountains but had to retreat half way. Still I enjoyed the treck.Next time I promised that I shall climb the entire hight to reach a small temple on the top.Restaurant was classy but food was just OK.Rooms were clean and spacious overlooking the scenic mountains.On the whole it was a nice experiance.
