I have a masters degree from USC. Studying abroad was a very good experience for me. If you want to compare the course content, then yes a degree from abroad is much better as the content is more relevent to our times. In India, the content of the course is always a few years behind the recent developments. In India we tend to concentrate on theory and not so much on the practical aspect. Abroad, they concentrate more on the practical aspects and experimentation. This is why a degree from a foreign university will help you settle into a work enviornment faster and with minimal training. Now is it worth spending all that money is a different matter all together. It depends on your ultimate aim.... Learning or Getting a Fat paying job.
