Planning to Visit usa on a tourist VISA

Hello Sir,

My only brother stays in USA and i plan to visit some of the historical places of Swami vivekanada.

I am planning to apply for a tourist visa. What should be the invitation letter all about. What are the chances for rejection for such kind of Visas
