A plate of 2 (300 calories) (15 gms fat) = Dancing for 50 minutes

A plate of 2 (250 calories) (10 gms fat) = Dancing for 42 minutes

Even if she does know her subject, she doe not certainly know how she should present it.

What is this dancing stuff anyway? does it mean Manipuri dance, or Break Dance (jackson type), or the Flamenco, or the Tap Dance. Manipuri is slow dance, whereas Break dance could be tantamount to running at 9km/hr. Easy aerobic dancing will burn about 315 calories/hr, whereas intense dance will burn about 470 cal for a 60 kg individual.
In other words, this dance as a measure for rate of burning calories is highly non-standard, and does not convey anything at all.
Of course the rate at which you burn calories varies between individuals. By and large it depends on one's metabolic rate and one's size. But on an average, one burns about 78 calories per hour just by sitting. Sleeping burns about 65 calories per hour.
Read the definitive book by none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Or try http://www.webmd.com/content/tools/1/calc_calories.htm
For all her diplomas, sadly, her writing does not measure up.
