I am a engineering graduate passed out in the year 2005. Right now, i am working for a company providing back end support of sales. Our business is done thru' reps who are in direct contact with the customer. In order to survive in our industry, we need to have good technical skills and our product is control valves.
I would like to take up MBA as my next venture but still like my present job. So, pls advise me if i can get any similar job (typially manufacturing companies) after my MBA that needs both technical as well as sales skills. Because nowadays most of the companies in campus recruitments are from IT & services? Can you throw me some light on some of the manufacturing companies recruiting MBAs and what do they expect typically from MBAs? Will the specialisation in Sales do for this one?
