how the calorie in any food are determined and do the consumtion or expenditure of calories is arrived at and what methodolgy is employed to test the findings of any such excercise? what has been stated appears emperical and speculative to me without any scientific basis .Did the author determined the caloreis himself or he got the data from somebody or a book? there has always been a talk about good food and good food habits. All food articled mentioned acove are eaten aavidly not only in maharashtra but all over india and world where ever there are indians.please let us know the truth scietifically i am neither a fan or favourite for all these it is from scientific pont of view that i am raising this question calories may be important but these are not the only criteria of eating food so many other factors buzz in one knows please enlighten
