Bedtime is always a challenge for me every night. With 3 boys,15,13 and 8 years. The eldest being in his teens feels he is too big and should sleep as late as 11pm.Thank god for my firmness when they were toddlers.Daily sleeptime was 7:30-8:00pm.My eldest tries hard as he thinks it is cool to stay awake late but gets drowsy by 10pm.My 13 year old cannot be awake again beyond 10 pm and the youngest who is 8 can barely manage past 9pm. No matter what but as a parent we must make sure that our children sleep in time for a healthy and alert mind, lack of sleep surely reflects on the work output at school.Of course, exceptions can be made on the weekends but come Sunday we are back on schedule. Its a tough job for parents till our children are in school, but believe me they will acknowledge it and maybe thank you for it one day when they are older as I do to my parents,no matter what but the lights were off in our bed-rooms at 9pm sharp! The saying is true, early to bed early to rise makes you healthy ,wealthy and wise.Try it !
