Your guide to e-mail etiquette
by Ravindra Dixit on Mar 17, 2006 04:51 PM

Dear Sir/Madam,
The points contained in your letter are well taken. I have come across many young users of the internet who take correspondence via e-mail as licence to use wrong abbreviations like 'U' for 'YOU' etc. With an ever increasing number of youngsters taking to the internet as a way of life, I feel it would be prudent for schools to teach e-mail/internet etiquettes as part of school curriculum from the earliest possible classes, with the of inculcating the right habits from the initial stages as wrong habits once ingrained in the system are very hard to shed.
