Hi Andrea, I'm glad to know of your determination to fly high as an Air-hostess. Well, I was an Air-hostess, never attended any Air-hostess Academy. What an Airlines look for is, not someone who merely finished an Air-hostess training course, but who can look after themselves and others with care and poise, and able to handle emergencies confidently. If you have a caring heart and a zeal to serve others, if you can still smile in the midst of an unhappy situation, if you are a responsible and willing to handle emergencies, even at the cost of your life, you're on! Many people think an Air-hostess' job is just about serving food and drinks on board. But its more than that. Much more than serving food, it takes a lot of patience and presence of mind to handle difficult passengers, delays, shortages, medical emergencies and other inflight emergencies, doing all these with grace, poise and warm smile. If you already know what it truly takes to be an Air-hostess, a delightful smile and proportionate body to go with, you don't need an Academy. But its upto you if you still want to try the Academy. All airlines provide inflight training course for their recruits. All the best Andrea!
