work first or get MBA?
by Shishir Pandey on Jul 18, 2006 06:10 PM

Hi Shalini,

I suggest u go for a job atleast a year and then apply to MBA. Doing this will help u in two ways 1. u will be more confident and able to relate the theory to the practical and get better answers then any one to your academic queries. 2. Learnig will be fast and easy for you. But it should be clear to you before opting for a job that which specialization ru u looking for in MBA. I mean ur job should be in the same industry in which u want to persue the course.

I did my MBA in 2004 but learnet the practical world in a hard way now i think if i would have gone for a job and then come back to the industry i could demand for the opportunities in companies inspite of taking it in the industries way of giving.
