yes.it is better to have the work experience before doing the MBA.only problem is that we may not be able to get the work experience in all the areas of management because generally the companies the employee in one department.to overcome this it is suugested that the MBA should be allowed to be completed in a modular form.there is no point asking a finace professional to do a HR course early in his carrier.as one progressen in career towards higher level of management where broader skills are required one can always come back and do the remaining modules.this will encourage people to take a break from the work and complete the MBA in tandem with personal growth and company requirements.
