It will defenitely help you if you have work experience before commencing your MBA. Now a days recruiters are looking at experienced professionals and they hire them not necessarily at entry level. If you work experience, you can leverage it during your MBA to take optimum benefit from the program. You will be in an excellent position to relate the theory with your actual experience.
If we compare MBA in India and Europe/US, the later are more comprehensive, rewarding and acknowledged ones. The main reason for this is most of these programs require prior work experience of minimum 2-3 years.
I would suggest you join your field of interest and after gaining some experience can try for MBA.
