Is work-ex preferred for an MBA?
by sans on Jul 21, 2006 12:19 PM

Well, we seem to misunderstand the basic concept of MBA. today an MBA means fat packets and people seem to have forgotten that its something related to business.
we are creating more managers than leaders today..
Its supposed to be a business administration course.
People who are freshers and wherever they may join ... are not going to be on the same page as a guy whos been workin for 2-3 years...
One might seem confident , ready to take up challenges but in realuty it doesnt work out that way.
PGPX - A course introduces by the IIMs is something which i would call really impressive.
MBA itself is more of a business today than education so it would be unwanted to talk abt freshers and all... as i said before .. its all about fat packets .. no one can teach leadership... its always within u (if u have it) and can only be honed by experience ...
