Coping with anger
by ADITYA on Jul 17, 2006 05:23 PM

I have tried to overcome anger but have got success only partially. I have tried to eliminate the causes of anger... I try to postpone my reaction whenever i have a reason to get angry... Other fact is that our own failure to convince others on our points makes us angry... If someone does not agree to me views I get angry... but give it a second thought.. every human being is free to think in his own way... why should the world agree with us.... Instead learn to put myself in the place of the other one... try to understand the reasons for the behaviour / action of the other person... If the other person has one justifiable reason for the way he behaved... we must forgive him... We tend to find reasons to justify ourselves... try to find the reason to justify the action of others and you would be able to avoid anger. Still whenever I find someone hurting another weaker and helpless person I get angry.... Winning over anger is like mastering yoga... It is difficult but possible. SO let us TRY. Good Luck
