Anger
by monika varma on Jul 18, 2006 11:05 AM

All of us experience anger at some point or the other for various resons. The stimuli could be different but the reasons remains the same always.. ie someone has not fulfilled our expectations, our desires have not been fulfilled, or someone has hurt our ego.
I feel that the weakness is ours and not the other person's. Because we are not in control of our emotions, we explode when provoked. each one of us should make an effort to overcome this human trait, as it is a major loss of positive energy and increase in negative energy, we lose our discriminatory powers.
how i try to cool myself down is by telling myself that the other person will behave and speak as per his 'nature' and 'intelligence', so why waste my time over someone elses weakness?. My time is precious and i should utilise it in pursuimg my higher interests. plus by looking and meditating on someone elses weak ponts i am imbibing his negative qualities and worsening my own self. is it worth it? absolutely NO...
