RE:Is ISB is really pushing careers
by jeemil on Jul 04, 2006 06:34 PM

Well for once IIM aluminus have to get out of the clout that theres nothing better than IIM.IIMs tries to select people from various field but they all are neophytes, when u compare them to ISB for the experience that u gain while working cant be compared with the books. So although IIM selects people from different field as more then 70 percent students out there are with less than 2yrs exp.So no comparision on that front with ISB who selects bulk of its students with more than 4yrs.And finally ISB shouldnt ever compare itself from the package point of view and job offer point of view to IIMs.They are far ahead from that respect to ISB.Although they might have got a student with highest salary last yr in international placement, but then its always the overall placement that counts. And finally i am not a alumini of either institution for i believe " B-schools can't teach you visionary leadership"
