As I understand US Consulate office works from four regions in India and each visa section has its own jurisdiction to work from. Also, depending on where I belong to, I need to find out the nearest Consultate office for personal appearance purposes.
Hence, can I have a preference on one location over other consulate office to get my dependent visa (H4) ? Can I get it done from New Delhi Consulate let us say, instead of Chennai office depending upon whichever can give me early appointment date.
