Hi Beena, I think it is good opportunity for you to show up your talent to your management. I suggest you to meet with your boss's superior and brief him about condition of your dept. and the things who you are managing. Assure him that you can handle the work independently. Take initiative and ask him for pending/new assignments. See..it will work. good luck...
