I have been using Worldspace for the past one year. Recently, I renewed the subscription.
Worlspace is a boon for people who stay in far away places. One of the best things about the radio is that it is operable all over India. Your location can be a far away forest or in the city. All you need is an open view of the sky.
I have to say, the music played is top class. Though I do not listen to much of hindi songs, I feel surprised at times when they play melodious songs that they probably dig up from their archive.
For people into western music, this is Godsent. It has so many international channels, its difficult to keep track. I am mostly into western music, thats why, it suits me.
If you are only into Hindi film music, I must tell you Worldspace does not offer much channels. But the one that they offer beats any of the FM stations anyday because of the content quality. How you balance the content vis-a-vis thats offered by local radio stations, you decide.
Another thing -- if you usually find yourself glued to TV, it is unlikely that you would come to like Worldspace. Its of less use to people who cant stand without their daily feed of television.
