I would certainly prefer Gelato for ice cream, as I was in Italy for three years I always preferred Gelato and tasted all the possible flavours but the Gelato tastes different in India as compared to the Italian ones. In Italy we have more tasty ones and large variety. Anyway we can always improve with quality and taste. But one must certainly try Gelato for ice cream once to know the difference between the two.
