gre test

hello!

i have planned MS for the fall 2007 session.

i would be taking gre & toefl tests during last week of nov or early dec.

will this be alright to apply for univ if i take up tests as scheduled or do i need to prepone.i heard tests have to taken 6-8 months before the commencement of the session.

please suggest when can i take the tests?
