Financial Documentation
by dr_abhishekh on Sep 18, 2006 05:23 PM

Hello Team,

I am a permanent resident of New Zealand and I will be going to the US Consulate in Auckland for obtaining a Student Visa.

I wish to prepare my financial documents for the visa purposes.

Can I obtain a student loan from a nationalised bank in India for upto 50% of my fees and living expenses.

I am working fulltime and hence will presenting some savings for funding my study.

My principal query is will a student loan acceptable to the Consulate from an Indian Bank being a permanent resident of a different country. Approx what percentage of funding should be taken on a loan?

I will be thankful to you if I get a reply to my queries.

Best regards,

Abhishekh
