Confused

I am in final year of Comp. engg in Mumbai. My father wants me to do MS in US. But my another friend who got a job with Leading MNC for 75k per month (Lucky), is discouraging me to go to US. He says future is here and not in US. Who is right, my father or my friend. I am confused.
