dear all, Let me share my experience with you. In may 2006, i attended an interview at Asian paints for a purchase executive position.(my dream company). i was so enthusistic that i was in heaven. I cleared intitial mathematics test; a HR guy (lowest in heirarchy) started interogating me - his questions were so irritative that i literally cried for not getting chance for next level.
The very same day afternoon i attended an interview at Sahara India. One of emininet directors of sahara interviewed me. Total focus was on functional aspects. I was instantly selected.
WHEREEVER I WAS THROUGH, I WAS INTERVIEWD BY FUNCTIONAL HEAD, NO HR INTERVIEW. Wherever, HR comes first in the picture, i was utterly failed.
I REQUEST ALL HR GUYS, MAKE INTERVIEW INTERACTIVE NOT INTEROGATIVE.
