Indian accent
by S.Hariharan on Apr 12, 2006 08:42 PM

Yes it is true there will be influence of mother toungue accent. Once you are away from your State and show interest in learning the language of the State where you shift, there will be improvement. In Kolar Gold Fields, I used to hear "Cycle Motor" instead of Motor Cycle.But--aanna casually comes out of tamilian. In certain parts of Karnataka the word Mountain will have all the twists of a mountain peak and there is no accent difference for Tournament and Govern{a}ment.
