Very True
by Mahesh V on Sep 21, 2005 04:44 PM

It is very true that a person who visits AP bhawan for a meal will frequent it from then on. I being an andhraite was working in chandigarh for about 2 yrs and missed the andhra food there. Whenever i was in delhi, i made it a point to visit AP bhawan for the authentic andhra lunch without fail. Even if i were in delhi for a day, i still would make it there. As mentioned by Abhishek, one is really lucky if they can get a seat in 15-20 mins on a sunday. Whenever i went on a sunday, i had to wait for a minimum of half an hour and sometimes even close to an hour. Another thing i observed there was that apart from andhraites, u find a lot of tamilians, kannadigas and also local delhiites who are regular and not one timers.

It is a pity that mumbai being a bigger city than delhi has no place for authentic andhra food.
