There are several severe drawbacks in this new system of JEE. Some of them are: 1. It has brought down the number of attempts to two but what about the thousands of students who have joined expensive coachings to get into the IITs. 2. What about the students who were selected in some other good engineering college but left the admission to give one more attempt at IITJEE. 3. There are many students who though are not very bright, still they clear JEE due to their hard work for 2-3 years. Don't these students have the right to improve their lives by getting into IITs?
I think the present pattern should be implemented from JEE 07 so that the students who have dreams to make it big, should be given atleast a Last chance.
